Olumide Olu-Akintomide went into financial services because he wanted to help people who “believe they cannot retire because they are not comfortable with the goals they have today.”
Originally from Nigeria, Olumide and his wife Adedoyn emigrated to the U.S. in 2005. Today they make their home in Bolingbrook with their three sons. Olumide earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.
A voracious reader, Olumide reads 24 books a year, and is a coach with Bolingbrook Soccer Club, for the Under 15 and the Under 9 teams. He also enjoys driving and has taken road trips throughout the U.S. and into Canada.
