MOVE FOR KIDS - LURIE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
A group of 70 LSFG advisors, family, and friends participated in our 2022 Q2 giveback, Lurie Children’s 10th Annual Move for Kids walk. We surpassed our team fundraising goal of $5,000, with a total donation of $5,819.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE MEALS FROM THE HEART
Our Lakeshore Advisors had the opportunity to cook lunch for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY
In our first-time collaboration with the country's largest food bank, our team joined forces with other volunteers to achieve something incredible. Together, we turned 10,222 pounds of apples into 213 meals for each volunteer, and 15,600 pounds of potatoes into 200 meals per volunteer. See our video below!
BACK 2 SCHOOL AMERICA KITS
Just in time for the start of the 2023 school year, our team assembled over 100 kits filled with essential learning materials for students from Pre-K to the 12th grade. These kits provide support to individuals with physical disabilities at the Center of Independence Through Cognitive Education.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE SNACK PACKS
To start the 2023 year, we partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities to provide 250 snack packs for parents and kids staying at the houses. These grab-and-go options offer a simple solution for families who don't have time to sit down for a meal, allowing them to stay close to their children while they receive treatment.
BANK OF AMERICA CHICAGO MARATHON
We were part of over 1,400 volunteers, played a vital role in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. From aiding elite runners at the start lines to guiding participants into their corrals, we contributed to the success of the event, ensuring a seamless experience for 47,000 runners.
