Currently a student at Loyola University’s Quinlan School of Business, Lawson plans to have his MBA by July. As a professional his whole life, his immediate plans at LSFG are to develop relationships with colleagues and familiarize himself with the financial products and services that can best help his clients reach their goals. A survivor of pediatric cancer when he was a pre-teen, Lawson was an ambassador with Bear Necessities while he was in high school. One of his longer-term plans is to work with families affected by cancer and help them deal with the financial challenges they face.
Lawson joins us after three years as an investment associate with Wells Fargo. Born and raised in Geneva, Illinois, Lawson now lives in Chicago’s River North neighborhood with his girlfriend, Gracie. He graduated from Geneva High School, before earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama, where he double majored in Finance and Economics and completed a minor in International Business. His undergraduate years included a semester of study abroad in Barcelona, Spain, and a summer studying in Sydney, Australia.
Lawson has played soccer throughout his life and was on the University team in Barcelona.
