Located in Portland, Oregon, Jean-Louis recently joined us as part of Mark Joslyn’s team, Empowered +. He met Mark initially while working with him as a business consultant. Now with Empowered +, he plans to target small business owners and their communities.
Born in Venezuela, Jean-Louis moved with his family to France when he was 16 years old. He attended the University Paris Nanterre, earning his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Business Psychology. He relocated to the U.S. about ten years ago, working for start-ups in Silicon Valley.
Jean-Louis is fluent in Spanish, French, and English. He is the founder and director of Feel Good, Human, a nonprofit providing small business owners with business incubation support; social media marketing; online content production; and spaces to work, connect, and build community. Jean-Louis enjoys connecting with people and feels that kindness and empathy are two of the most important traits a person can have.
In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening.
