Janessa brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial field, with a background focused on helping individuals and families better understand, manage, and work through debt. Throughout her career, she has also served as a sales team manager, guiding clients toward practical financial solutions and helping them take meaningful steps toward greater financial stability.
A graduate of Sauk Valley Community College with studies in business, marketing, finance, and journalism, Janessa is passionate about making financial guidance feel clearer, approachable, and useful. She believes financial education is often the missing piece, and her goal is to help people better understand their options, feel more confident in their decisions, and take practical steps toward long-term financial goals.
Her areas of focus include retirement income strategies, life insurance protection, annuities, debt awareness, financial organization, and long-term financial strategies for families. Janessa is especially motivated by helping clients make sense of where they are today while preparing more intentionally for what’s ahead.
Originally from Miami Beach, Florida, Janessa has spent the past two decades living in Florida. She is looking forward to helping individuals and families better understand their financial options and the importance of preparing for retirement, while building trusted relationships rooted in education, clarity, and care.
Outside of work, Janessa enjoys spending time with her son and family, caring for animals, and supporting animal rescues, including bunny rescues. She also helps care for a local cat community by assisting with feeding efforts and supporting spay and neuter initiatives for homeless cats.
