Colbey Olson joins our Chicago office as part of Cale Morin’s team at Lakeshore Financial Group. Fueled by dedication and resilience, Colbey is a proud first-generation college student after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Financial Counseling and Planning at Iowa State University.
Starting his career as a property and casualty insurance auditor, Colbey developed his foundation in the insurance regulation industry before embarking on his career in personal and family finance. Supporting Cale Morin’s team, Colbey now uses his experience blending his client-focused mindset with the technical side of comprehensive financial strategies.
Living by the mantra, “consistency is the behavior of success”, Colbey applies this principle diligently in his professional and personal life. Originally from Chanhassen, Minnesota, he now calls Chicago home, where he enjoys an active lifestyle that includes golf, fishing, skiing, and running.
