Cody was raised in a blue-collar family in Peoria. After high school, he worked as an electrician – and then on a commercial fishing boat on the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers – before deciding to go to college.
He attended Illinois State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Financial Management Services. While at ISU, he was on the Rugby team and managed a restaurant & bar.
Before joining our firm, Cody worked at Equitable Advisors, focusing primarily on 403(b) plans for teachers. He’s happy to be at Lakeshore Financial, where he can take a more holistic approach to help clients with their financial needs. Because of his background, he plans to focus on small business owners and tradesmen.
Cody lives in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends, fishing, playing basketball, and is in a shuffleboard league. He is also a big Green Bay Packer fan.
