Caden earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Analytics from Iowa State University. Originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota, he began his career in the automotive industry, working as a Finance Manager for dealerships in Iowa before joining Patrick Dealer Group in Schaumburg. His experience working directly with individuals and families helped shape his belief that strong financial guidance starts with understanding the person behind the numbers.
Caden believes every client has different needs, and it’s his job to take the time to understand their unique situation before making recommendations. Education is an important part of that process. He wants clients to understand the decisions they’re making and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.
Easygoing and approachable by nature, Caden enjoys getting to know people and building genuine relationships with the clients he serves. He believes staying positive, adaptable, and focused helps him work through challenges and keep moving forward—an outlook he brings to his work with clients as well.
He is especially passionate about working with young professionals who have an opportunity to build a strong financial foundation early in their careers. Caden also wants to help families navigate difficult financial situations and work with small business owners to protect and strengthen what they’ve worked hard to build. No matter where a client is starting, his goal is to help them feel more informed, prepared, and confident about their financial future.
Giving back has also been an important part of Caden’s life. He began volunteering with Special Olympics in high school and continued his involvement at Iowa State, where he raised money and participated in the Polar Plunge each year in support of Special Olympics Iowa.
Now living in Schaumburg, Caden enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. A lifelong sports fan, he played football, hockey, and baseball in high school while graduating with honors. These days, you can often find him golfing in his league at Fox Run, fishing, hunting, hiking, watching sports, or catching a movie. He also loves to travel and spent a semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy, while in college.
One quote that has stuck with Caden over the years comes from Wayne Gretzky: “You miss 100% of the shots that you don’t take.”
