Financial Services Representative

Brenda joins us after 4 years with AXA Advisors (now Equitable). Prior to that, she had a long and varied career, always centered around education and helping others. Today, that means helping others with their financial education.

Brenda holds a BA from Michigan State University in Advertising and a Masters from National-Louis University in Special Education. She specializes in working with successful women who have the challenge of taking care of their financial wellbeing after a transition like a divorce or a career change. Before her financial career, she owned a marketing consulting firm that served financial services and insurance firms, taught in a school for gifted children, worked as a yoga instructor.

Born and raised in Ohio, Brenda recently relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee from Chicago's North Shore.  (Ironically she now lives in Chattanooga's North Shore).  Practicing in both Tennessee and Illinois, she made the move to a virtual practice after her three children – Wilson, Charlie, and Maia left home and 2020 proved what can be accomplished with Zoom and the internet.

She is a member of Women Belong, FEMM Empowered Entrepreneurial Women, Velocity CDFA® Mastermind,  Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute, and Purse Strings for Financially Fearless Women. She is also President of Collaborative Divorce Illinois and a member of IDFA, IACP, and the National Association of Certified Mediators.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking the Tennessee mountains, golf, tennis, and is learning pickleball.

Brenda is insurance licensed in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Tennessee and holds the CDFA®, RICP®, CDC® designations.
