Blas earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and later completed his MBA at North Park University. After college, he built his career in supply chain roles at several Fortune 500 companies, supporting functions such as demand planning, forecast management, and inventory management. Following the completion of his MBA, Blas transitioned into consulting, where he worked as an independent consultant advising organizations on software-driven supply chain solutions.
During the pandemic, Blas discovered a deeper calling centered on helping individuals improve their financial well-being. He founded a credit repair company and began educating family and friends on how to read credit reports and understand the importance of building and maintaining strong credit. While helping clients reach credit scores in the 700s was rewarding, Blas saw an opportunity to make a greater impact by supporting people beyond credit improvement — through budgeting, retirement strategies, and long-term financial strategy.
This passion ultimately led Blas to become a Financial Representative with New York Life at the end of 2024. In this role, he continued to focus on financial education and empowering clients to make confident, informed decisions. His dedication to client service and professional growth has been recognized with both the Career Success Award and Success Producer Award at New York Life.

He also enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling in his free time.
