Ming was born in Taiwan to Chinese parents. She was raised in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States when she was fifteen years old. She attended the University of Minnesota and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Musical Therapy and Piano. But, Ming has always been intrigued by the world of finance. Throughout the years, she has seen family and friends get older, become ill, and not be prepared financially. These experiences have helped her understand the importance of financial education and planning ahead for life's difficult financial times. She’s especially excited about her opportunity at LSFG to help others become better financially prepared for the future.
Ming and her husband, Frank, live in Gurnee. They have four grown children - who live in California, New York, and Illinois - five grandchildren, and more on the way. It’s a good thing Ming and Frank like to travel!
Ming has done a lot of volunteer work over the years, especially with the Chinese Fine Arts Society and accompanying various choral groups. Through these accompanist positions she has had the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally. In her free time, she is also involved in International Ballroom Dancing. She enjoys singing, attending concerts, and sharing time with friends and family.
Ming is insurance-licensed in Illinois.
